As the days get warmer and with school finally over, it can only mean one thing -- SUMMER. Everyone has their favourite summer memories that they always go back to - vacations, beaches, fiestas, bonding time with the family and most especially, summers spent watching your favorite television programs. And like past summers, this one would not be complete without ABS-CBN's annual Summer Station ID. This year, in line with the celebration of 60 Years of Philippine Television, ABS-CBN proudly presents its 2013 summer campaign, "Kwento ng Summer Natin". Combining the concept of summer memories and the network's rich history, this Summer SID will surely be a fun trip down memory lane.

Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson literally play good music together as the two sing this year's theme song for the much-awaited summer station ID of ABS-CBN with the theme "Pinoy Summer, Da Best Forever".

Sarah and Gerald, together with the biggest and brightest Kapamilya personalities, will show the true colors behind Pinoy summer and share the amazing reasons why it is the ultimate summer destination for tourists and fellow kababayan.

"This year's summer station ID paints a picture of how Filipinos are proud of their heritage and values as reflected in our very own festivals. Bayanihan, camaraderie, unity, respect, and love for one's self are the prime Filipino values highlighted. Color and joy spread like summer heat, awakening the festivities and making celebrations more alive," 

It will show a rainbow brightening in the sky as a group of festival dancers offers a free ride to Angelica Panganiban, Zanjoe Marudo, John Prats, and Melai Cantiveros, Pooh, and Jason Gainza. 

It's Showtime in Guimaras as Anne Curtis, Vice Ganda, Vhong Navarro, Karylle, Billy Crawford, Kuya Kim, Ryan Bang, Colleen, Jugs, and Teddy feast on golden yellow mangoes during a Mangga Eating Contest. 

Summer festival parades become beautiful blankets of flowers as AiAi delas Alas leads the festival crowd in her floral float.

Angel Locsin epitomizes the magnetizing Filipina smile as she makes even the killjoys join the festivities.

Cliff diving has never looked more tempting as the ultimate heartthrob, Piolo Pascual, jumps off the glazing rocks to retrieve a friend's valuable which was accidentally dropped off in the clear blue sea.

Bea Alonzo and plus-sized majorettes redefine sexy as they lead the band with confidence. 

Meanwhile, ABS-CBN News anchors Noli de Castro, Korina Sanchez, Ted Failon and Regional News anchors help in the traditional procession.

No matter who you are or where you are, there are passions that are raring to go out and this summer is the perfect time to unleash your enthusiasm and do what you love most. 

This is also the inspiration of this year's ABS-CBN Summer Station ID—actualizing your potentials, displaying your talent as an individual or as a group, community or nation under the summer sun. 

The music video captures how ABS-CBN and its stars are inspired by Filipinos who strive to be the best that they can be. 

ABS-CBN believes that despite the post global recession and other challenges that our country has faced, the resilience of our people will never falter. With a renewed sense of optimism, our nation will continue to pursue excellence in any endeavor.

The song "Bida Best sa Tag-Araw" is performed by Star Power grand winner Angeline Quinto and Vincent Bueno. It was written by Love Rose De Leon and Niño Anglo, rap part written and performed by J.O.L.O. aka J-Dot with music arranged and produced by Marcus Davis, the producer of the memorable One Team, One Summer 2007 Summer SID theme and the award-winning Star ng Pasko from 2009 Christmas SID.

The 2011 Summer SID was jointly created by ABS-CBN's Marketing team headed by Cookie Bartolome and Zita Aragon and ABS-CBN's Creative Communications Management headed by Robert Labayen, Johnny de los Santos, Ira Zabat, and Patrick De Leon.
